Dr. Ricardo F. Jara - Dentist Pomona

Dr. Ricardo F. Jara, DDS, FICOI

Dr. Ricardo F. Jara served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for six years. He obtained his bachelor of science degree from University of California, Riverside. He furthered his education by obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California, San Francisco in 2017. In 2019 he became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

Dr. Ricardo Jara served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman for six years. During his military service, he safely provided efficient and effective medical and dental healthcare for five-hundred sailors and marines attached to Navy Hospital Camp Pendleton. He later obtained his bachelor of science degree from University California, Riverside. He furthered his education by obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2017.

In 2019, he became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). He is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Jara has extensive experience in clinical, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, including hundreds of hours in continuum courses studies in all phases of implant dentistry.

Are new patients accepted?

Yes, new patients are welcomed and are encouraged to contact our office to schedule an appointment visit. Our schedule varies each week, but we try our best to accomodate new patients for the soonest available date and time.

Absolutely. Same day appointments are available throughout the week and we would love to help. Don’t hesitate to contact us for a dental emergency. However, if you are experiencing a medical emergency or a non-dental related complication, please dial 9-1-1 for further assistance.

Yes, we welcome anyone that would like a second opinion. Second opinions are encouraged, especially if the patient’s questions have not been fully answered yet. Sometimes patients would like to hear a different perspective from a different dental provider.

The answer is yes. Most of the time two, three and sometimes up to four options are presented to the patient. It is not necessary to make a decision during the initial consultation, so please don’t feel pressured when different options are presented and you may need to discuss those options with family members first.

We currently participate with CareCredit. Patients are encouraged to contact them via phone or visit their webpage. Any questions regarding financing with CareCredit and eligibility will be best answered by representatives from CareCredit.

We accept most PPO plans: Delta Dental, CIGNA, Aetna, Anthem, Metlife and several others. Each year we add more insurance carriers, but feel free to contact our office for eligibility benefits.
